About Me

I grew up in a coastal town in Massachusetts until the age of 13, when I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in California. There, I discovered my passion for journalism through classes at Palo Alto High School, where I began covering sports and learning to produce videos and design graphics for magazines. After graduating in 2014, I attended American University in Washington, D.C., earning a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. My time there strengthened my skills as a multimedia creator, contributing to student-run publications and producing social media content for nonprofit organizations. Following my graduation in 2018, I worked as a personal trainer, honing my social and communication skills. In 2026, I earned a master's degree in Marine Biology from Unity Environmental University in Maine, combining my journalism expertise with scientific knowledge of marine mammal conservation. This experience underscored the importance of communication in scientific fields. Today, I work as an assignment editor for WMTW News 8 in Maine.
